Women in Writing
As part of my show, Women Behaving Badly, I will be hosting a series of panel discussions with women in the community. One of these ladies is Cassi Clark, author of the book Breastfeeding is a Bitch, But We Lovingly Do It Anyway.
Cassi Clark has been a writer most of her life. She is a Master of Public Administration, a mother, a knitter, a skier, and an adventurer. She is a Colorado Native, an Oregon Duck, a former Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Ski Instructor and a New York City survivor. She has written about topics that range from outdoor adventuring to top Colorado businesses and education programs to motherhood allegories. Her writing comes from a bottomless curiosity about human nature and the experiences we share. In addition to Breastfeeding Is a Bitch, But We Lovingly Do it Anyway she is working on her first Historical Fiction novel about a female psychopath vying for power in 1912 Denver. She lives in Denver with The Best Husband Ever, her Little Milkaholic, and two of the universe’s coolest cats. She invites you to join the community at: www.breastfeedingisabitch.com.
Cassi and two other ladies will be speaking on Wednesday, September 21st at Coffee at The Point from 6-9pm.
